She's on the side of good, but sometimes her methods leave a lot to be desired (according to her superiors in anycase, which probably accounts for her low rank), but despite her often questionable methods, and her attitude, she's pretty good at what she does. Can speak several languages: Haketia-Ladino, Darija, French, Hebrew, German, English and Italian. Her accent sounds mostly French, but occasionally when she's emotional, the Moroccan accent of her childhood creeps in. She often lapses into French, having spent most of her life in France. History: Born in Morocco in 1916, Daniella Sabra Cassin was the daughter of a Frenchman and a Moroccan Jewess. In 1932 (when she was 16) her father moved the family from Morocco to France, where she subsequently met Gérard Chevalier who she later married in 1934. In 1935 she gave birth to identical twin daughters. In 1939 she received word her husband Gérard had been killed in action. In 1940, she managed to get her daughters out of Nazi occupied France, sending them to a boarding school in Switzerland. Believing her daughters to be safely out of harms way, she began working with the French resistance, working at first as a courier, and later becoming the mistress of a Nazi Officer in order to spy on him. In 1943, she was discovered, and despite lengthy and severe torture, refused to reveal the identities of her co-conspirators, and so was executed. Despite believing in the existence of God (old habits die hard), by the time Dani died, her only faith was in the cause for which she fought. Because she had no faith in God when she died, she was not allowed to dwell in heaven, however, because she'd essentially been a good person, and because her lack of faith was understandable, given what she'd gone through, she was not condemned to hell. So she was turned into an earthbound Angel. She was, and continues to be, angry with god, for the horrors he allows to befall humanity. | ||||||||||
